I'm pretty bored right now, so I decided I might as well set some goals.

I'm 6'3, 204lbs. I want to be a lean 225lbs by the end of the year. I'll go to the gym tomorrow to find my max for a bunch of lifts, then try and set a goal for the year. I'll try and make it to the gym 5 days a week. I think i'll take a whey protein supplement, and maybe cycle creatine.

I used to run the 5k in high school for cross country. My best time was 18:50, but i was only 185lbs. Even at that weight, I was about 30lbs heavier than the rest of the competition. Good luck with your run.

Levi, I havent lifted in a while. So, I freely admit my opinion doesnt mean as much as it might have used too.

But I would highly advise that you hold off on the creatine until you max out and you are looking for that bit extra.

Good luck on your goals.

Max lifts are way overrated....just see where you are at with a set of ten.

5'9 - 191 - I want to lose another 6-8 lbs.
I can run 10km in 64m, I want to get that number under 60m.

I want to be able to last through 15 minutes of ground fighting with out getting gassed, right now I'm losing everything at about 7-8 minutes.

In Hapkido we train in both Stand up and ground techniques, so when the fight goes to the ground is where I'm weakest mainly because of poor Cardio. We do a lot of Brazilian Ju Jitsu style moves when the fight goes to the ground, but we mix in some wrestling, Sambo and Judo.

I second that. Creatine has no benefit to the amateur lifter and very little benefit to the professional, from what I have heard.

Exactly. Unless you are going for the strongman, quantity and consistency in reps will do more for your shape than max lifting.
